Serendipin’Art

We started the gallery in 1993.  For approximately 20 years we sold Wedgwood Fine Bone China and Waterford Crystal as well as every collectable under the sun.  Our other retail outlets sold t-shirts, novelties, rubber lobsters etc.  During those times people frequently asked "isn't there anything made locally?"

I had been teaching goldsmithing part-time at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design and I realized here are all these extremely talented artists without a retail outlet.  I closed the other businesses and opened Serendipin' Art.  The rest is history, and now we represent 120 artists, 90% from New Brunswick and the other 10% are from the Maritimes and beyond, in two galleries.

Everyday it is a pleasure to see the expression on our customers' faces (new and returning), when they discover the talent that surrounds them.  They're especially delighted with the price, because all pricing is established by the artists and set to New Brunswick rates which are much lower than the rest of the country.

Our goal is to offer you the finest products made available by these creative artists.  Why are we so creative?  Must be the long winters "eh"?
