Serendipin’Art

Two exciting galleries promoting the fine art and craft of over 120 artisans await you at Serendipin’Art in beautiful downtown St. Andrews. One gallery features talent from New Brunswick while the other is a collection gathered from the Maritimes.

Distinctive jewellery in gold, silver, pewter, glass, ceramic and beach glass is waiting to be discovered. The inspiration for our fine art, embroidered and painted wall hangings, prints and photographs, mounted or printed onto silk, comes from the magnificent landscapes and seascapes of “Downeast”.  Works of glass which are hand blown, stained, fused or slumped cast their colours and warmth throughout the galleries.  Splendid apparel of dyed or painted silks can be found next to hand-woven blankets.  Functional and sculptural pottery is presented in materials such as porcelain, stoneware and earthenware.  The techniques include hand building, wheelwork, slip glazing and raku.  Also, on display are uniquely carved or turned indigenous and exotic woods, as well as incredible tree burls.  A wealth of folk art, toys, candles, books and music complete our galleries.  Come and celebrate the spirit of creation at Serendipin’Art.
